Mubende, UGANDA– Fr. Alex You Memorial School (AYM) surveyed and offered counseling to their teenage learners last month after hearing a report from a whistleblower that one of their female student was married off by her parents. The Executive Director, Prof. Peter Kasenene responded quickly by inviting a counselor to prepare teachers for a one day workshop to ready them for an immediate field visit through every household where they have teenage learners. Survey results will be reviewed to find out if AYM will need to implement a new initiative.
