Mubende, UGANDA--- Many saving groups haven’t been left the same by the pandemic, including 3 out of 4 saving groups at Fr. Alex You Memorial School (AYM). However, Mugolodde Farmer’s Association, a saving scheme under AYM has thrived through this tough time after coming up with possible and safer ways of saving in the pandemic. Most members in this group comprise of small business owners whose businesses continued operating despite the pandemic unlike other groups that are mostly farmers that were hugely affected by drought and other effects of COVID-19.
